PORTSMOUTH pop star Josh Cuthbert has said performing in his home city was amazing.
Josh took to the stage with his group Union J in front of thousands of screaming fans on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old Portsmouth-born singer said the show in front of his home crowd was an unforgettable one.
‘Saturday was definitely special for me,’ said Josh.
‘We have done over 200 shows but Portsmouth was definitely up there as one of the best.
‘The crowd was just incredible – there were thousands of people all out for a good time.
‘There’s really no crowd like a Pompey crowd.’
Josh said the success of the show had convinced his new management team to come back to Portsmouth as part of the band’s upcoming tour later this year.
He added: ‘The Summer Show has definitely got a bright future. Clearly it’s getting better and better each year.’
