Trade union to hold a minute's silence
A WORKERS' memorial is set to take place.
Trade unions from across Portsmouth will meet at the Workers’ Memorial in Victoria Park on Friday.
A minute’s silence will be marked at midday, but people are asked to gather at 11.45am.
Louis MacDonald, secretary of Portsmouth Trade Union Council said: ‘We will mourn for the dead while fighting for the living.’
