UPDATE: Clothing found on Southsea beach sparks major coastal search
A SEARCH has been launched after full set of mens clothing was found at Southsea beach.
The discovery was made at 9.40am this morning, near The Coffee Cup in Eastney Esplanade.
A police spokesman said a jacket, jogging bottoms and a hoodie had been found.
Lifeboat crews and police are involved in the search.
The coastguard has called off its search due to light this afternoon.
The search and rescue helicopter, based in Lee-on-the-Solent, has been involved in the operation.
