Andy Green is getting ready to celebrate his 20th wedding anniversary – by flying back from a holiday with his wife to the FA Cup Final.
The Pompey fanatic had booked his anniversary holiday in Turkey with his wife Kim, but told her if Pompey went all the way to Wembley then so would he.
Mr Green, 47, has followed Pompey since he was a child and says it is his big love – along side his wife.
He said: 'My wife is very supportive. When she booked up to Turkey I said to her "if Pompey get to the FA cup final I will be going to it". She just laughed, she knows what it means to me.'
The determined dad, of Augustine Road, Drayton will fly from Turkey and arrive back in Gatwick at 1am on May 17.
He will set straight off to Wembley for the match to meet his daughter Emily who is also a fan.
He said: 'It is great that we can share this dream together.
'I have supported them all of my life. I can remember my dad taking me to the Arsenal game in 1971 and I was hooked.
'It has been a lifelong ambition to see them play at Wembley.'
And if all of the jet-setting wasn't enough for Mr Green he has also organised a gig for the band he manages, Kodak's Revenge, at South Parade Pier on Sunday in celebration of Pompey's achievements this season.
Mr Green will then fly back to Turkey to be with his wife Kim, 50, to celebrate their anniversary.
