A school is receiving sponsorship from local businesses for its stage production.
Pupils at Neville Lovett School in Fareham have based their production around the theme of the circus, drawing inspiration from the French circus - the Cirque de Soleil.

For the production - part of the annual Rock Challenge event in which several local schools compete - a local hairdressing salon is sending out some stylists to give out free hair extensions and to help style the children's hair.

They are also hoping to receive £500 in sponsorship from other local companies.

Chris Todd, choreographer for the production, said: 'Neville Lovett has a few troubled kids and kids with troubled backgrounds.

'They lack attention and drive.

'The whole point of doing Rock Challenge with them is it's their choice to do it.

'We have got 50 kids doing it and they are really giving it a go. They love it.'
