Jazmin Adamson, six, was born with cerebral palsy and cannot speak or sit up on her own.
Her parents Kelly and David, of Birch Close, Cowplain, are desperately trying to raise £12,000 for the treatment which they hope will ease their daughter's muscle problems which prevent her from controlling her limbs.
Mrs Adamson, 28, said: 'She has always been in a wheelchair but she understands everything going on around her.
'She is just a little girl trapped in a very disabled body which makes her very frustrated because it won't do anything she wants it to do.'
The couple spent five years researching treatments worldwide, trawling the internet where they found the private XCell Centre, in Cologne, Germany, which carries out stem cell treatment on cerebral palsy sufferers. It works by decreasing patients extremely high muscle tone.
Mrs Adamson said: 'From what we've found out about improvements to other people, we think it will be able to help her sit up on her own, use her arms, play with her brothers and take part in every day life a lot more.'
Doctors will harvest stem cells from bone marrow from Jazmin's hip which will help repair the damage caused to the muscles. The treatment is not available in the UK.
Now all the family need is the money to send her to Germany.
Mrs Adamson, a full-time carer to her daughter, said: 'We are going to do everything we can think of.
'On November 8 we have a sponsored walk from Denmead to Cosham. We're going to be holding car boot sales and quizzes, and we've got lots of support from our family and friends.'
