It was a chance for the Year 11 pupils of Cowplain Community School to mark an important milestone in their lives and look to the future as 144 of them braved windy conditions to make spectacular entrances to their end-of-year prom.
The pupils, who have recently finished sitting their GCSEs, arrived in all kinds of transportation before entering the venue on a red carpet.
From vintage cars to open-top buses, from limos to top-of-the-range sports cars, everyone was going all out to impress.
One young lady stole the show though. Rachel Dance, 16, wowed the crowd who had gathered to watch when she made her entrance astride one of her very own horses.
Andy Lacey, learning manager of the year group, paid tribute to a special group of pupils.
Mr Lacey said: 'This will be the last time they are all together, they have finished their exams now and they had their leavers' assembly on Monday, so this is it.
'They have been a fantastic year and an absolute pleasure to work with.'
