Pompey fanatics have been singing their hearts out in anticipation of the big final at Wembley.
Musicians Mike Fowler and Philip Swan hit the right note as they beat others to scoop a local competition with their song for the Blues.

We're On Our Way conquered Quay FM's Top of the Pompey Pops and will be performed live on the local radio station.

Mr Swan said: 'If we can get the track played at Wembley that would be fantastic.'

The friends, who met at school, wrote the song one morning and got musician pals to help them record it with Matt McGowan on

lead vocals and guitar, Swanny on lead guitar, James Birt on drums and Amy Fowler on backing vocals and guitar.

'It's brilliant news fans chose us – I'm ecstatic,' he said.

The song has now been signed to a record label and will be available to buy online or on CD soon.
