Former Conservative party leader Iain Duncan-Smith is to make an appearance at a social justice debate.
The MP will be taking part in the debate tomorrow in the council chamber at the offices of East Hampshire District Council in Petersfield.

The debate will highlight the work going on across the district to ensure that people are treated fairly reg
ardless of sex, age, ability, religion and any other factors that may make them different.

Attendance at the event is by invitation only.

Councillor Yvonne Parker-Smith, chairman of the council's Social Justice Board, said: 'We are delighted to welcome such an eminent politician, who is the chairman of the Centre for Social Justice, to take the time out of his busy schedule to visit East Hampshire.'

The event will include a number of presentations on social justice and a Question Time-style panel discussion at which the invited guests can raise issues and questions.
