And as an added incentive to come along and join in the fun, The News will be raffling off two pairs of FA Cup final tickets at the fund-raising event.
The hope is that there will be a sea of blue beside the sea at Southsea Bandstand to celebrate Pompey's FA Cup success so far, to back them to win the trophy at Wembley, and to raise money for the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.
With blue skies and highs of 73F (23C) forecast, it's set to be a great afternoon with everyone coming along being encouraged to wear blue clothing, wigs, or whatever helps get them into the FA Cup party mood.
Local bands and singers will be on stage from 1pm with the ever-popular Shep Woolley kicking off the picnicking songs.
He said: 'It's going to be a fantastic day. I'm really looking forward to getting started.
'The charity is such a great cause with so many people getting behind it on Blue Day, I expect the picnic to be a very popular event.'
A generous donation of four FA Cup final tickets by Pompey fan Mick Williams means we can offer two raffle prizes of a pair of tickets for the biggest match in Pompey's recent history.
Anyone coming down for the picnic is invited to bring their own food and drink, although there will be an ice cream van on hand. Ice cream seller Keith Alton will be donating 10 per cent of his takings to the trust.
Forever Blue, the winner of Quay FM's Top of the Pompey Pops competition, will be the last band on stage with their song supporting Pompey.
Tom's dad Clinton Prince said: 'I just can't believe the support we've had and tomorrow should be amazing seeing all those people in blue supporting the trust and Pompey. We can't wait.'
