Pompey fans beam with delight after getting their hands on tickets for the historic clash against AC Milan.
Season ticket holders queued early yesterday to make sure they don't miss the big Uefa Cup match at Fratton Park next month.

Stefania Benfield, 41, waited in line for an hour before getting her ticket. 'I think the atmosphere will be electric, and it will be very emotional as well. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience,' she said.

'To see AC Milan at Fratton Park just tops it all really doesn't it.

'We want to go while we have got the chance to see the bigger clubs. We might never get that again. And it's excellent value.'

Season ticket holders have until October 25 to get their tickets, and fans must buy tickets for both the AC Milan game on November 27 and the tie with Dutch side Heerenveen on December 17.

Tickets will go on sale to members on October 27 before going on general sale, subject to availability, on November 3.
