Flagship Portsmouth, a series of attractions each worth a day's visit in itself, offers a comprehensive view of the Royal Navy and Britain's maritime power, from historic times right up to the present day. Attractions include Mary Rose, HMS Victory,
HMS Warrior 1860, Royal Naval Museum, Warships by Water, Dockyard Apprentice, Action Stations.

Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is open every day (except Christmas Day).

April to October - 10.00am to 5.30pm
November to March - 10.00am to 5.00pm
Admission (One entry to each attraction. Unlimited life - return at your leisure to see any attractions you miss): Adult £16; Senior citizen £13; Child £13; Family £46.

HMS Victory

The Royal Navy's most famous warship. She is the world's oldest commissioned ship and a proud memorial to Lord Nelson, Britain's greatest Naval hero. A tour of the ship will set loose your imagination to recreate the conditions at sea for the men and boys who lived, worked, fought and died during battle under sail.

HMS Warrior,1860

The world's first iron hulled armoured battleship, powered by steam as well as sail and constructed of wrought iron. Almost overnight, Warrior had made every other warship obsolete. When you step aboard HMS Warrior 1860 you will catch a glimpse of life in a 19th century warship - as though the crew had gone ashore leaving everything ready for inspection.

Mary Rose and Mary Rose Exhibition

Millions watched on television in October 1982, as Henry VIII's flagship was raised to the surface and brought safely back to her home port to begin the long process of conservation. Now, more than 1,200 objects are on display, miraculously preserved by the fine silts beneath the Solent. Together they present a unique picture of the men of the Mary Rose and the ship in which they lived, fought and died.

Royal Naval Museum

A comprehensive record of the Royal Navy and the WRNS with collections of artefacts, fine art, manuscripts, oral history and photographs illustrating the history of the senior service. Exhibitions include the story of HMS Victory, Trafalgar, Horatio Nelson, the Royal Navy today and in the age of sail.
