The Red Cross is looking for people to join its team taking part in this year's BUPA Great South Run.
The event takes place on Sunday, October 26.

Members of the Red Cross team will receive support from start to finish in the race, a sponsorship pack and a Red Cross running vest.

Jess Zubaidi, a senior fund-raiser with the charity, said: 'The Red Cross helps people in crisis whoever and wherever they are. As well as responding to disasters overseas, such as the Burma cyclone and China earthquake, they also carry out vital services for vulnerable people closer to home in the UK.

'I would encourage anyone considering taking part in the Great South Run to go for it.'
