Staff and volunteers will be out in Portsmouth during Guide Dog Week – October 6-12 – to educate people about the challenges faced by people with sight loss.
Members of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association will be handing out a 'How to Guide' booklet and DVD for members of the public, advising people on how to help out.

The idea is to show people how they can assist in potentially tricky situations such as in busy streets, or in a crowded shop, even if the person has a cane or a guide dog.
