A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with a broken leg after a crash between a motorbike and a car.
The accident happened at the junction of Hilsea Crescent and Northern Parade when a yellow Yahama motorbike was in collision with a silver Vauxhall Vectra.

Police and paramedics were at the scene by 10.30am yesterday and the motorcyclist was stretchered into the ambulance with a broken thigh bone and taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham.

The driver of the car was not hurt. A fire crew from Cosham Fire Station attended the incident to wash down the road and clear debris.
