She's been an estate agent, model, actress and TV presenter – but Amanda Lamb is about to take on her toughest challenge yet.
Leigh Park-born Amanda is to be on our screens every night competing in sports events celebrity reality show The Games.
The 32-year-old presenter, who has hosted TV's A Place In The Sun for Channel 4 and famously appeared as the face of insurance firm Scottish Widows, will take on six different sports in a week of programmes.
She will be battling against nine other contestants, including singer Bernie Nolan, pop star Javine, EastEnders actress-turned-singer Michelle Gayle, Radio One DJ Jason King – known as JK – and Coronation Street actor Adam Rickitt.
Amanda, who worked as an estate agent in Portsmouth before launching her showbiz career as a model, said the training had been tough.
But she is looking forward to competing in the events, which will be broadcast live each night on Channel 4.
