Over the last 60 years the Waterlooville community has grown significantly.

“The area is expanding and developing rapidly”, says Debbie Passells, Director at Pearsons estate agents.

“From around 1958 Waterlooville’s housing stock grew significantly, with the building of family houses and bungalows in the area,” says Debbie.

“During the mid 1980’s there was another significant development of new build homes which offered a much more varied selection of homes, ranging from studio apartments to executive detached family houses.”

According to Rightmove, in the last year the majority of properties sold were detached properties for an average price of £351,218.

Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £263,247 and with terraced properties for £212,026.

The overall average price in Waterlooville, had an average price of £270,926.

“With housing there is something for everyone, from new affordable housing, family homes of all sizes and a good selection of retirement homes and complexes,” adds Debbie.

“In addition to the selection of available new build homes, there is a good choice of established roads with character and older style homes of various sizes,” she says.

From the Waterlooville Golf Course and the the neighboring hills to high street names, boutiques and eateries in the town centre, there’s enough happening to keep the entire family occupied.

“There’s the leisure complex, gyms, golf courses, swimming pool, horse riding etc and with such easy access to the great views and walks on Portsdown Hill, Butser Hill, the Queen Elizabeth

Country Park, Southdowns National Park and the surrounding villages, walkers will have plenty to see and do.”
