The Blues midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to pen a new deal.
Davis (below) asked for the club for a fresh contract last season, but claims he's heard nothing since.
Despite the uncertainty, the 29-year-old has become a key performer this season, filling the void left by the departures of Sulley Mun-tari and Pedro Mendes.

And Davis, who turned down the chance to join Celtic this summer, insists he is desperate to stay.
He said: 'It's up to the club really. I want to stay.
'I asked for a contract last season and haven't heard back since.
'All I can do is get my head down and see what happens, but I want to play here.
'I had the chance to move to Celtic but wanted to stay in the Premier League and go on a journey with Portsmouth Football Club.
'Obviously, I came to the club when they were in a desperate situation. Now they have moved on. That's progress, and I want to move with the club as well.
'Portsmouth are going in the right direction – the owner's given good backing and hopefully we can go on a run.
'I don't want to go anywhere else but at the moment I have no idea where my future will be.
'The ball's in their court, it's always been in their court.'
Davis' hard-working and tireless displays have catapulted him alongside Lassana Diarra as Pompey's favoured midfield pairing.
It's been a dramatic reversal of fortunes for a player who was dumped in the reserves at the tail-end of last season and failed to make the FA Cup squad.
Now he's emerged as a first-team regular and an important figure in the current set-up.
He added: 'As a footballer, all you can do is be professional, work hard and hopefully you'll get your chance later.
'I know it's hard when you're not playing, but I think the main quality of me is my character and never-give-in attitude.
'That's what you've got to do. No-one wants to play in the reserves, but if you do you might as well get something out of it and get your head down.
'I am just thankful that I'm now getting the chance.'
