Dejan Stefanovic has tipped Pompey to send his Fulham side tumbling into the Championship.
The former Fratton favourite thinks the Blues will triumph against Roy Hodgson's side on Sunday.

Stefanovic feels the team he joined last August lack the same quality Harry Redknapp's men possess.

And he thinks that will stop the Londoners getting the three points they need to be assured of safety.

Stefanovic said: 'It's a massive game for Fulham and we need to win.

'I think it is going to be difficult to pick up all three points. I think we will be lucky to get a point.

'Pompey have lost their last three games and it was a draw before that.

'They will want to have a win going into the FA Cup final.

'I know Harry Redknapp and what his teams are like.

'Pompey always want to win at home whatever the game is.

'I think it will be tough to take a result.

'The players are not bad here.

'It is a squad which can just about survive, if they are lucky.

'But if you ask me "Who is going to win?" I think it will be Portsmouth.'

Stefanovic will miss an emotional return to his former club after falling out of favour under Hodgson.

The 33-year-old stated he will be leaving the club in the summer.

Stefanovic said: 'I've not played since the start of the year and it will be disappointing not to play in front of the Pompey fans again.

'I've said I will be leaving in the summer whatever happens on Sunday.

'The manager has bought his players and has his opinion. That's football. It's no big deal.'

He would come back, but i think we have moved on, No disrespect, but its "As Dejan says", Football. However, i think he still lives in SOuthsea, so DO NOT be surprised to see him come back in some capacity in the future... maybe a coach?

Dejan was one of our "Give it all" brigade. Surprised Fulham are not playing him but I hope he is right and Fulham lose.

If there is a place for him, I would not complain if he came back here in some capacity.

Dejan was good at the time but lets be honest he's garbage now. He wouldnt get anywhere near the team so what would be the point in bringing him back? Just adds to the wage bill. We dont need to sign more useless squad players only a couple of key players that are better than what we already have.

He was a liability when he played last season.
Did a good job for a few years but legend? Don't make me laugh

A legend would surely give 110% anytime they played, whereas Dejan fully admits that he couldn't care less when Perrin was in charge. Personally I was very glad when he left.

I didn't mean as a player, but in some kind of backroom / coaching capacity. For sure he is not, and probably never was, in the same league as Distin.

He looked very good in the Championship and lets be honest, pretty average in the Premier League. His pace got exposed way too often and I agree, the fact he didnt put in the effort under Perrin hardly leaves him a Pompey legend. Was good business getting rid and if he cant make the Fulham team doesnt that say it all? Seems to think he's a better player than he really is.

Ok, we don't want him back! But come on boys, he played his part in where we are today! respect please.

You put any top player in a cr*p team and that top player becomes cr*p. I am sure he will find a good home! and play some good football still.
