Hawks' hopes hit by weather

Hampshire's hopes of Pro40 League success were dealt a major blow after their showdown with Worcestershire was abandoned because of the weather.
Dimi Mascarenhas' side have rediscovered their winning formula in recent weeks, but they were denied their chance to record a fifth straight victory in the competition by a waterlogged Rose Bowl pitch.
After several inspections and the best efforts of the ground staff, the game was eventually abandoned without a ball being bowled.
With both Sussex and Nottinghamshire breathing down their necks, the Hawks needed a win and to rely on other results going their way over the next week.
But it now seems likely that Hampshire will be overhauled at the top of the table, if Sussex and Nottinghamshire can beat the weather in their remaining fixtures.
