Chuck Martini's Godalming Town left the Hawks shaken but not stirred as the home side scraped to a 2-1 win in their third qualifying-round FA Cup tie at West Leigh Park.
The home side were coasting as they built up a 2-0 lead with goals from Gary Holloway and Paul Booth by half-time.

A poor second-half performance, however, allowed the Ryman League minnows back into the game and they pulled a goal back on 56 minutes.

The Hawks, though, survived some anxious moments before holding on to go into the draw for the next round.

It was not such good news for Gosport, though, who saw their FA Cup adventure come to an end.

A solitary Ryan Moss strike proved enough for a 1-0 defeat to Dorchester at the Jewson Stadium.

Borough could take a great deal of credit, though, from their afternoon's work after producing a spirited performance over 90 minutes.

We Can Do It

Today's Vote

Is Tony Adams right to make changes to the Pompey side who beat Blackburn?
Adams should stick to the side that earned him his first win at Fratton Park
He should only change things around if there are injuries
If Campbell and Kranjcar are fit they should start
Davis deserves a starting role after his heroics against Blackburn
With a heavy fixture schedule coming up, changes are needed
