A batch of 1,180 tickets for Pompey's FA Cup semi-final with West Brom will go on sale from the club's ticket office next week.
They will be available to season ticket holders only at 9am on Wednesday, April 2, and be limited to two per person.

The bulk of the seats are left over from the first phase of ticket sales when 1,100 season ticket holders did not take up their option to buy a seat for Wembley.

The remaining 80 are £99 Club Wembley seats that have been made available to Pompey fans following negotiations with Wembley.

The tickets will be sold on a strictly first come, first served basis.

Pompey chief executive Peter Storrie said: 'The queues will be long and lots and lots of people will be unsuccessful, but we believe this is the fairest way to deal with the remaining batch of tickets. We will have all seven ticket office windows open.

'In the interests of fairness, we would urge those season ticket holders who were successful in Phase Two on Sunday, when 4,000 tickets were released, not to seek seats this time. Please be fair to your fellow supporters who were not so fortunate.'

The club couldn't lie straight in bed. So these will be the tickets that never got sold in 40 minutes on Monday morning then. Pathetic effort Mr Storrie and Co, truly pathetic.

the word disgrace springs to mind.cant believe that all season ticket holders didnt want one.surely everyone of them must of known some one who wanted one all they probably got feed up of holding on the phone.technically no dis respect from some of the older sth holders but the whole idea of pressing this number pressing these hash key talking to an automated service then spoke back and wasnt the easiest way of gettin a ticket.

not suprised with pfc on this. should these tickets not go in with the general sale as stated by pfc last week? and why do season ticket holders keep getting extra chances for more tickets? does any one not think that as season ticket holders they only have the right to 1 ticket each? dunno its all a mess from pfc. and talking of black market tickets look at the add below which on this website! kinda takes the micky of the news story dont buy black market tickets when there web site has adds for them. lol

Usual mismanagement from PFC. I also dont know why season ticket holders get 3 tickets anyway. I understand they should get their own ticket 1st but why 3?. I can no longer afford a season ticket but still go. I suspect many 'fans' at wembley will not visit fratton park again under normal circumstances.

I see other ticket websites are offering tickets now at around £450 a ticket. what a joke. I bet there are far less tickets available than stated on thursday, no doubt the fone lines will be busy for 2 hrs then all of a sudden the tickets will be 'sold out'

Having already obtained my ticket in phase 1, i feel that STH's are asking for a bit much thinking they should get 3-4 tickets per season ticket.
Surely more tickets for phase 3 or for people who have been to all cup home games this season plus other league games would have been more appropriate, rather than for the family / mate / dog / milkman of a 2007/08 STH.

no wonder true Pompey fans can't get hold of F.A. Cup tickets, I've just been on the internet and these tickets are everywhere, cheapest £250 each and the dearest £460 each, what a @**!@*! liberty!!

i wish that there was a way of finding out exactly where all the tickets went, how many sold at each phase and to who ect because something stinks, where are these £400+ tickets coming from. The club should be ashamed of letting there supporters get riped off like this, after all they must have control of the tickets. I will admit that I thought that sth getting more than 1 ticket each was not right but i'd much rather that they get the extra tickets than Joe Bloggs who's mate is a pompey supporter who fancy's a day out to Wembley at a true supporters expence.

What part of their game do Pompey need to improve ahead of the final?
They need to work on their defending - especially at set plays.
We need to work on our passing - we must keep, and use, the ball better.
It's the final third Harry should concentrate on. At the moment we don't look like scoring!
There's no need to worry - we'll be fine as we are.
