After the mauling at Stamford Bridge, we want your views on Pompey's next test - at home to Man Utd.
Harry Redknapp's side will be up against it when they welcome the champions to Fratton Park.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side are without the injured Ronaldo but they will be keen to open their Premier League account after their 1-1 draw at home to Newcastle on the opening day.

Pompey proved against the Red Devils in the Community Shield that they can mix it with the Premier League's best.

But how do you think Redknapp should approach the first home game of the season?

Should he revert back to the 4-5-1 formation after the disaster against Chelsea?

Whatever your opinion, post a message at the bottom of this page.

shudnt go back to 4 5 1, especially at home as we bought Crouch to play with Defoe not to sit on bench. and he would be pi55ed off after leaving liverpool cos of time on bench. or Defoe would be pi55ed off for same reason

i dont think Harry should be worried about not playing crouch or defoe as its only one match and i believe that a 4-5-1 would be our best bet against the champions. Its going to be a very tough match but the optimist in me thinks we could grab 1-1 draw as we have a good home record against Man Utd. get some width with Thomas and little/Utaka to feed those balls in to Crouch. Also how about a bench slot for Sahar, if we have him on loan we should use him otherwise whats the point! Oh and please please please Harry start playing people in their correct positions otherwise we may as well book a taxi for 11 people to arrive at 8:00pm Monday night coz it clearly doesnt work when people play out of position

definately 451 look at last season at home to united first half we couldn't get the ball out of our own half!we changed it to 451 and balanced the game out plus grabbed the equalizer! there's no reason why we can't do that again, and please play little on the right he looked good in Nigeria!

Chelsea was a disaster, a disgraceful display from a bunch of proffesional footballers. This time we have to turn up and get some points on the board. The fact that we are at home has to play in our advantage. I would like ot see little out on the right wing and have diop in the centre with diarra. drop campbell and play kabul in the centre. It will also be good to see sahar make an appearance from the bench. prediction, 1-0 to pompey. PUP

If we do get anything out of this game it's a bonus, and not a disaster if we don't. Having said that we've done alright against them at Fratton Park since promotion. They're not at the top of their game yet, but we will have to be.
no more than 2 goals in the game, 1-1 seems likely.

We Can Do It

Today's Vote

Is Tony Adams right to make changes to the Pompey side who beat Blackburn?
Adams should stick to the side that earned him his first win at Fratton Park
He should only change things around if there are injuries
If Campbell and Kranjcar are fit they should start
Davis deserves a starting role after his heroics against Blackburn
With a heavy fixture schedule coming up, changes are needed
