Armand Traore has dedicated his sizzling form to Harry Redknapp.
And the Arsenal starlet is convinced there is still plenty more to come.

The 18-year-old has been a shining light since his on-loan arrival and was once again one of the outstanding performers in the weekend victory over Stoke.

Traore has now featured in all of Pompey's past nine games, starting eight of them.

His scintillating partnership with Nadir Belhadj down the left has also become the Blues' main attacking outlet – their pace, skill and movement often wreaking havoc.

Pompey have the France under-18 international until the end of the season, when he will return to the Emirates.

And Traore has been quick to pay tribute to the Redknapp factor for making it all possible.

He said: 'I am enjoying it a lot because I am playing in lots of games. That's what I came for.

'Most of all, I am definitely improving as a player.

'Harry has been very good. He's doing what he promised before I came to Portsmouth. He is giving me games, giving me the experience and I am better because of it.

'I have learned how to play in different situations, things like simple passing, control and my awareness. My game in these areas has improved, definitely.

'I think it's an excellent team. We have great players in each position.

'We have a great bench – people who come on and make a difference like Nadir did against Vitoria for the second goal. A great team.

'I'm happy. I get on very well with everyone and I am getting the experience and that is down to the manager. I thank him for that.

'For me this is only the beginning. I haven't played 10 games yet and I think there's more to come.'

Traore may be steadily improving with experience but his understanding with Belhadj has been instant.

The on-loan duo have struck up an impressive rapport down the left flank, as Andy Griffin found out on Sunday.

The former Blues full-back was given a torrid time by the pacy duo who attacked him at will during the Fratton Park victory.

And Traore is pleased with their progress.

He added: 'Me and Nadir link up well.

'At the beginning we found it a bit hard but now we have started to understand each other and it's working.

'We are the same type of player. We are both quick and like to attack and I think we can do something together on the left side this year.'

It'll be easier to sign Belhadj up, as Wenger's been keeping an eye on Traore's progress.

Having said that, I can't see why we couldn't sign both of them up. They work brilliantly as a team, and it'd help bolster the squad.

He may be happy but given the choice he will go back to Arsenal as he has a long term deal.

I firmly believe that when Kranky is fit to drop one of these two for him will seriously weaken are attacking option on the left.

Sell Kranjcar and use the money for Belhadj and Trore. Kranky is overated, Troare has heaps of potential and Belhaj was mistakenly written off by most and we have an option on him anyway.Good business and we might even have a little left over to get Benji back (he wont be a big enough name for Man City to want to keep him) and then let Kanu go.

Cracking idea about Benji, lets start a campaign to get him back.

Maybe they would like Nugent in a swap if they have that much money to throw around!!!

Harry Harris,

Seeing that we have a problem on the right side of midfield why can't Kranjcar palye there as he is naturally right footed.

"Cracking idea about Benji, lets start a campaign to get him back."

Hell, if we're on the idea, why not try and get Mendes back as well?

And why do people suddenly want to get rid of Kranky? He was fantastic for us last season, once he's back from injury he'll have a point to prove. You never know, he may work really well alongside Traore and Belhadj.

We Can Do It

Today's Vote

Is Tony Adams right to make changes to the Pompey side who beat Blackburn?
Adams should stick to the side that earned him his first win at Fratton Park
He should only change things around if there are injuries
If Campbell and Kranjcar are fit they should start
Davis deserves a starting role after his heroics against Blackburn
With a heavy fixture schedule coming up, changes are needed
