Andy Davis recorded a victory in the Ron Snook Memorial competition.

The Farnham angler caught 11 carp up to 8lb as he saw off the challenge from his rivals.

Portsmouth’s Tony Butler came second with a total of 22-8-0.

Southmoor’s Darby Allen took third place (20-0-0) and his club-mat, Alan Templeman, finished fourth (17-4-0).

The match raised a total of £200 towards the MacMillan Nurses Trust.

The trophy was presented by Ian Snook.

Meanwhile the latest MBK Leisures junior open match took place on Saturday, September 6, at Pump Station.

Alton’s Chris Smith won the age 13-17 category with a total of 22-10-0.

Ed Milford, from Clanfield, finished second (10-6-0).

Horndean’s James Bonnett took third place in the age group (6-1-0).

Petersfield’s Connor Hinkley and Ellie Hinkley enjoyed their day in the nine-to-12 age group.

Connor (15-4-0) took the victory and Ellie came second (11-0-0).

Ethan Sanders, from Clanfield, was third (10-6-0).

In the under-nines, Sutton’s Callum Ives picked up first place – ahead of Ollie Kitchener, from Storrington, who finished second and Kieran Goddard, Aldershot, who took third place.
