James Baker recorded his second win in the Lakeside 5k Series.

The Chichester Runners athlete relished the hot conditions as he delivered a dominant victory in 15min 53sec.

James Smith was second in 16.27 and Calum Upton crossed the line third with a time of 16.34.

Sarah Kingston finished first lady in 19.22, with City of Portsmouth talent Elizabeth Rose, first under-17 and second lady overall (19.46).

Chichester’s Jane Harrop was third overall and first in the veteran 50-age category (19.49).

Lucy May, from Stubbington Green, was second senior lady with a time of 21.16.

City of Portsmouth’s Martin Williams finished first vet male 55 (17.55) and club-mate Will Wall was first under-15 (18.58).
