Chichester athlete Peter Concannon turned the tables on his club-mate James Baker as the duo finished first and second in the Lakeside 5k last night.

The positions were reversed from the opening race of the series last month.

Concannon took the victory with a 15min 41sec time, while Baker had to be content with second (15.48).

Eastleigh’s Tom Stevens crossed the line third (16.02).

City of Portsmouth’s young talents were again to the fore.

Jacob O’Hara finished first under-15 and eighth overall with a new best of 16.20.

Ted Yeates was second under-15 (17.54) and Adam Kimber finished third in the age group (17.55).

Aldershot’s Lauren Hall was first lady (17.35).

Hannah Howard, from Eastleigh, was second (17.59) and City’s Elizabeth Rose was third and first under-17 female (18.40).
