Wellington, recently crowned Hampshire County Champion, took victory in the under-15 boys’ race.

He was in a class of his own as he sped to victory with a time of 15min 37sec, destroying quality runners, from across England Wales.

His nearest rival was talented Norwich athlete Jack White, who finished second in 16.20.

Teuten was representing the England team again after being picked by national boss Eamonn Martin.

The Portsmouth talent, 24, finished seventh in the senior men’s race (36.38).

He was second home from the England team, with Cheltenham’s Graham Rush one place ahead in 36.32.

Chichester’s Chris Zablocki, from the USA, was second overall in 35.39.
