SOUTHSEA Fitness Festival is back – and once again it’s free to all.

After its success last year, the event returns to Castle Field in Southsea today with a huge array of exercises, sports and giveaways taking place.

Everything from yoga to volleyball to boxing is on the timetable.

And there’s plenty of quirks for the inquisitive, too, with sling swings for exercise-minded parents, a mover’s class for the over-50s and insanity workouts taking place plus much more.

Around 4,000 packets of Propercorn popcorn are to be dished out with a £1,000 prize giveaway lined up.

Among the prizes are free trainers for a year from Alexandra Sports, a Fitbit courtesy of ViiSana and a Pompey VIP matchday experience.

Organiser, Luke Newton, said: ‘The whole community has come together to support the event.’

It is on from 9am to 5pm.
