It was a special occasion for Sophie Easton who celebrated her 50th parkrun with a new personal best time for the course.

Two new runners to Lakeside have both completed more than 300 parkruns.

There was a big turnout from Portsmouth Joggers with Kiernan Easton, Laura Diamond, Mike Collins, Julia McGrath and Sarah Thompson all recording new personal bests for the Lakeside course.

For Saturday they still need some help to fill all the positions.

Some of the roles can be filled by people who are also running the event like report writer, briefing for new runners and course set-up.
