It’s been an excellent summer for the Chichester Runners man, who picked up three wins in the series held at Lakeside, North Harbour.

He edged the battle with club-mate James Baker, who had to settle for second.

That was despite Baker winning two of the five races and finishing second in the other three.

Eastleigh’s Tom Stevens had a very good series, clocking his first sub-16 minute time on the way to finishing third male.

Aldershot, Farnham & District athlete Lauren Hall won all three races she competed in.

Eastleigh’s Hannah Howard finished first in the final event of the series and took second place.

City of Portsmouth youngster Elizabeth Rose was first under-17 lady and third female overall.

Martin Williams produced a remarkably consistent performance, finishing first in the m55 category in each of the five races.
