Daisy continue to reach for the sky in the Victory Indoor League Monday ladies’ fours division.

The quartet of Julie Greenwood, Babs Rhymes, Margaret Moffat and Kath Patrick retained top spot after a 21-7 win over Soo Jones’ Aster.

Buttercups (Marion Wilcockson) are hot on their heels, though.

They recorded an 18-shot victory over Lupins (Sue Jackson).

Elsewhere, Hyacinth (Rosemary Bailey) beat Freesia (Marie Barber) 16-7.

And Zinnia (Rita Dobson thrashed Erica (Trish Hampson) by 22 shots.

In the Tuesday ladies’ triples division, the Geordies team of Jo Phipps, Sue Jackson and Kath Patrick destroyed the unbeaten record of Tarts (Rosemary Bailey).

They scored 14 shots in the first eight ends before running out 16-10 victors.

Fillies (Trish Hampson) moved level top with a 15-8 success against Robins (Sheila Wilson).

Blues (Marion Wilcockson) regained momentum with an eight-shot win over Owls (Phyl Watts).

And Blackbirds (Jackie Watts) squeezed to a one-shot win over Smilies (Ann Wade).

Eileen Clark, Tara Clark, John Vinten and John Farrar sent the Lions to the top of the Thursday mixed fours division with a 24-2 success over Cheetahs (Arthur Daniels).

Pandas (Kath Patrick) are also right at the top after hammering previously unbeaten Emus (Arthur Newland) by 21 shots.

Tigers (Roger Bell) – aided by a six on the 10th end – beat Badgers (Roger Somerset) 15-8.

And Leopards (Marion Wilcockson) eased to a 25-12 victory over lowly Horses (Ron Smith).

n Rowner A and Fareham A are both celebrating after chalking up victories in pool B of the Palmerston Cup.

Rowner ran out 83-37 winers over Cowplain in the battle of the basement side.

Barry Roberts skipped a winning rink for Rowner A, while Trevor Kelly replied for their rivals.

That left battle between Betty Mason’s Cowplain rink and John Bailey’s Rowner A trio to scrap for glory.

And the latter stormed to an amazing 50-1 win to claim the overall success.

Meanwhile, Fareham A beat Lockswood 55-44 to grab maximum points and move up to third place in the pool.

They trail Atherley Blue but have a game in hand.

Linda Maple, Sheena Mack and Richard Horler skipped the winning rinks.
