While the early pacesetters rested, Graham Guy’s troops closed the gap at the top and moved up to third with a five-shot victory against Long Jacks (Dave Meyer).
Gamblers (Barry Starks) got off the mark with a three-shot victory against Moneyfields (Ted Coward) – as did Ice Creams (Mike Goldring) who were six-shot winners over Split Ends (Brian Le Marquer).
Crescent (Adrian Snook) lead division two after a 12-shot victory against Layabouts (John Biggs).
On their tail are Jack High (Alex Marchant), who enjoyed a comfortable nine-shot win against Copouts (Roland Bloy).
New team Wintergreen (Adrian Ash) conceded singles on the final three ends in their first game to lose by three against Royals (Tom Pullin).
Odd Bowls (Dave Powe) made it four wins from four games as they scored four shots from the final three ends to beat Stripey’s Mob (Mike Goldring) by three.
They are now two-point leaders in the Tuesday league.
Closest-rivals Claret’n’Blue (Roland Bloy) enjoyed a runaway 16-shot win against Titans (John Knowles), and Captain’s Lot (Dave Deacon) moved into third after scoring 14 shots in the final seven ends to beat Cardsharps (Terry Crawford) by 11.
Fiesta (Gerry Dobson) scored a single on the final end to tie with Next (Iain Mackenzie), and Leeways (Roy Lowless) got off the mark with an 11-shot victory against Strollers (Roger Shergold).
Gravediggers (Brian Le Marque) hold top spot in the Wednesday league as they made it four wins from four games when they scored eight shots in the final three ends to beat The Royals (Brian Hunter) by five.
Gilberts (Terry Smith) moved up to third with a 10-shot victory against Poachers (Bob Newell).
Hawkers (Mark Woolvin) were five-shot winners against Trevors Pals (Tony Ayling).
Alex (John Rawlings) won the final four ends to turn a six-shot deficit into a one-shot victory against Griffs (Fred Hammall).
