Their 14-shot win against Blues (Marianne Wilcockson) was enough to take them to the summit on shot difference while Smiles rested.

Tarts (Rosemary Bailey) won by 19 against Robins (Sheila Wilson) to boost their shot difference.

Fillies (Trish Hampson) enjoyed a six-shot success against Magpies (Annette Biggs).

D Dennis remain three points in front of Long Jacks in division one. Both teams were out of action so it is as you were.

Kackanders (Martin Wake) are in third place after a runaway 15-shot win against Moneyfields (Trevor Moore).

Gamblers (Barry Stafford) won by five against Split Ends (Russell Gadd), while Ice Cream (Gary Stark) had a stroll in the park to win by 21 shots against Allsorts (Gary Snook).

There were some close finishes in division two.

Layabouts (John Biggs) have taken the lead after a one-shot victory against Royals (Dorian Bishop).

Crescent (Adrian Snook) move down to second as they could only tie with Jack High (Alex Marchant).

Yankers (Jonathan Leggatt) won the first five ends for a 10-shot lead but eventually lost by three to Wintergreen (Adrian Ash).

Odd Bowls (Steve Caine) have jumped to the top of the Tuesday league with a one-shot success against Fiesta (Gerry Dobson).

Next (Iain Mackenzie) had a comfortable 14-shot win against Cardsharps (John Holdaway).

They move second, while Stripey’s Mob (Mike Goldring) trounced Leeways (Roy Lowless) by 30 shots.

Green division favourites Penguins managed a tie with Magpies (Geoff Mathews), firing a double on the last end.

Chuffs (Mick Gonnella) scored eight shots in the final six ends to win by two against Harriers (Ron Heath).

Puffins (Les Watts) went on a scoring spree for a 17-shot win against Blue Tits (Ted Winning).
