Daisy made certain of the Victory Ladies’ Fours League title with a 24-10 triumph over Friesa.

Aster belied their bottom spot and looked set to shock second-placed Hyacinth – until a six-shot loss on the last end saw them go down 12-9.

Buttercups were never in trouble against Foxglove and cruised to a 24-8 success.

Meanwhile, Erica held on to third place with a 10-shot win over Lupins.

In the Ladies’ Triples League on Tuesday, Smiles missed the chance of closing the gap on the leaders after a single-shot loss to Geordies.

Geordies were then brought back to earth with a 15-6 defeat at the hands of Blues.

Magpies are now joint third after a six-shot win over Jackdaws.

Fillies enjoyed a 13-7 victory over Blackbirds and Hustlers kept Robins in the lower reaches with a 22-9 success.

In the Mixed Fours League on Thursday, Team 7 continuing their challenge with a 43-7 mauling of Team 2.

In division one of the Monday evening fours, Peelers managed a 15-12 win over third-placed Just That Yard.

Second-placed Pentones lost 19-14 to Punters.

In Tuesday’s evening triples, Next drew with Citizens 14-14 and went on to reclaim the league title with a 23-12 win over Captains Lot.

Alex failed to extend their lead in the Wednesday evening triples, though, as they lost to Trevors Pals.

Poachers are still in contention after a 17-9 win over Gravedigger.

In division one of the Thursday evening triples, Gamblers lost to Allsorts. And in division two Ice Creams were surprised by lowly Long Jacks and lost 14-12 on the last end.

Jack High held Winter Green to a draw.

In Friday’s evening triples, Toromos lost 12-8 to title rivals Avagoes but are still favourites.
