It’s all Smiles at the top of the Victory Triples ladies’ league.

Joan Wilson’s side won by 11 shots against Blues (Marianne Wilcockson) and moved up to the top spot in the table.

Going the other way, Owls (Jemima Meaden) moved down to second after a two-shot defeat by Tarts (Gloria Tardival).

Geordies (Kath Patrick) occupy third place after a seven-shot victory against Magpies (Liz Compton).

Fillies (Trish Hampson) enjoyed a close encounter with Robins (Olwyn Brewster) and, thanks to a single on the final end, they won by two shots.

Hustlers (Margaret Moffatt) were 12-shot winners against Jackdaws (Ann Walter).

In division one, leaders D.Dennis (Colin Thresher) were made to struggle by the Dave Meyer-skipped Long Jacks and could only tie.

Kackanders (Martin Wake) returned to winning ways and included a count of six as they moved into third place with a nine-shot win over Allsorts (Ray Markwell).

Meanwhile, Gamblers (Barry Stafford) scored five shots in the final three ends to win by four against Ice Creams (Jim O’Donnell), who now occupy bottom spot.

Despite resting, Crescent still occupy the top place in division two.

Layabouts (John Biggs) moved a step closer and vastly improved their shot difference with a 19-shot victory against Wintergreen (Bob Friend).

There was a 12-shot success for Yankers (Jonathan Leggett) over Jack High (Alex Marchant), and a 12-shot victory for Copouts (Roland Bloy) against Portchester Vets (Ollie Mew).

Titans (Tom George) have taken over the top spot in the Tuesday league, after going on a scoring spree to win by 23 shots against Strollers (Roger Shergold).

Previous-leaders Odd Bowls (Dave Powe) lost by 13 shots to third-placed Next (Iain Mackenzie).

Stripey’s Mob (Terry Smith) went on another scoring spree and were 22-shot winners against Citizens (Geoff Matthews).

In a low scoring game, Leeways (Roy Lowless) were two-shot winners over Captain’s Lot (Paul Robson) and Fiesta (Gerry Dobson) won by 13 against Claret n Blue (John Hurst).

Gravediggers (Brian Le Marquer) remain on top of the Wednesday league after a comfortable nine-shot win against Trevor’s Pals (Ron White).

Closest-rivals Poachers (Terry Wright) kept in touch with a seven-shot victory against The Royals (Les Wilkinson).

Newcomers (Harry Blackman) are still looking for their first success after losing by eight shots to Gilberts (Trevor Smith).

Friday leaders Standons, who still have a perfect record, were resting, while Collegians (Les Watts) enjoyed a runaway 17-shot victory over Wickers (Tom Edgerller).

Flotsam (Kath Patrick) lost by eight shots against Metros (Ken Morgan).

Jays (Albie Somerset) enjoyed a one-shot victory against Waverley (Dave Wildman) and New Team (Alan Sprake) won by 11 against Spanners (Bob Chadwick).

Pirates (Dale Evers) scored a single on the final end to beat True Blues (Keith Warren). They remain at the top of the Tuesday day league.

Second-placed A Yard Short (Mike Perry) opened their scoring with a five and remained in the ascendancy throughout to win by 16 shots against Black Top Boys (Brian Chapple).

Ever Ready (Alan Greenhouse) got off to a flying start against Postie Pats (Paul Ellis).

They scored a five on the first end and remain in charge to win by eight shots.

College Park (Robin Philbrick) won by 11 over Pembroke Park (Norman Gibbs), and Standons (Trevor More) scored six in the final three ends to win by two against Avagoes (Paul Robson).
