Millie Morgan underlined her potential as she avenged her only defeat to date.
Victory ABC’s rising talent travelled to Cambridgeshire where she met St Ives ABC’s Shona Whitwell.
Whitwell came out on top the last time the pair met, and was carrying an impressive record of five wins from six fights going into the contest.
But that result was put to bed as Morgan turned on the style to register a fine points win.
Under the guidance of coach Mickey Goddard, the 12-year-old came to terms with the problems presented by her tall southpaw opponent in fine style.
And Morgan even registered a count in the third on her way to victory.
That follows on from her show-stopping success over Moneyfields’ Ebonie Jones at Victory’s show in January.
Now, the hope for Morgan is that she will continue her development and reproduce her form at the female National Schools’ Championships next month.
Victory trainer Leigh Medway said: ‘It was a great result for Millie.
‘It was a tremendous performance to outgun her opponent and earn the win.
‘We’re now entering her in the schools’ championships and believe she will do really well.’
