Hampshire have been relegated from division one of the LV County Championship after they were bowled out for 324 by Warwickshire this afternoon.

Jimmy Adams’ side needed to score 400 within 110 overs in their first innings to claim maximum batting points and keep their slim hopes of survival alive.

But, despite opener Liam Dawson (152 no) batting through the innings, they fell 76 runs short and will join Yorkshire in division two next season.
