Hampshire have been drawn away to Nottinghamshire Outlaws in the quarter-finals of the Friends Life t20.

While their final group game against Essex was abandoned without a ball bowled today, their record in this year’s competition was enough to secure a place in the last eight.

They will now face a daunting trip to Trent Bridge to face a powerful Nottinghamshire side, which boasts former Royals opener Michael Lumb in their ranks.

The tie will take place on either July 24 or July 25.
