DEFENDING Friends Life t20 champions Hampshire will face Surrey in the last four of this season’s competition.

Dimi Mascarenhas’ side will take on their south group rivals – opposition they defeated twice on their way to finals day – at Edgbaston on Saturday August 17 (11am).

In the other semi-final, Essex will play-off against Northants for a place in the final, which will be contested later in the day.

Hampshire booked their finals day spot by securing a one-run win against Lancashire on Wednesday night at the Ageas Bowl.
