James Vince has been named in a much-changed England squad for their forthcoming one day international against Ireland on May 8.

Nottinghamshire’s James Taylor will captain the side who travel to Malahide near Dublin.

Just 11 players have been selected so far with others to be added after selection for the third Test against the West Indies.

But Hampshire’s Vince, who has been named in his first full squad, could be one of six debutants as England start the rebuilding process after their dismal World Cup showing.

Kent wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings, Somerset all-rounder Lewis Gregory, Northants all-rounder David Willey and Surrey pair Zafar Ansari and Jason Roy could all make their ODI debuts.

Usual one-day skipper, Eoin Morgan, is not included as he fulfils his IPL contract.
