Alex Collins produced a dominant display on the track to clinch the Calshot Winter League senior A division title.

The Fareham Wheelers starlet celebrated his success with wins in the 28-lap scratch race, the points race, the unknown distance contest, the sprint and the scratch race in the penultimate round last Sunday.

TJ Nel, of Portsmouth-based i-Team, is second overall, while his team-mate Harvey McNaughton is placed third ahead of Sunday’s finale.

Collins also secured the junior crown.

His club-mates Vaughan Marris and Caitlin Peters are second and third respectively in the youth A division, although the latter is placed runner-up in the women’s standings.

Elliot Cox has the edge over his Portsmouth North End (PNE) club-mate Owen Giles as the duo are set to seal a one-two in the youth B division standings.

In the C division, Solent Pirates’ Jamie Whitcher is fourth. Ella Beaton (PNE) is sixth in the D division.
