A quartet of riders from i-Team/KSL/InTandem are targeting National Youth Circuit Championships glory in Blackpool tomorrow.

Sam Clark, Will Cooper, Charlie Cooper and Jamie Hutchinson will hit the road in a bid to emulate the Portsmouth-based club’s 2008 champion Jon Dibben.

They will be joined by Fareham Wheelers starlet Caitlin Peters.

She lines up with Clark in the under-12s’ competition.

It is a 20km battle around the seaside town’s North Shore Circuit.

Will Cooper embarks on a 40km tear-up in the under-14 boys’ class.

And Charlie Cooper and Hilsea’s Hutchinson tackle 50km in the under-16 boys’ group.

n Joe Truman gave another glimpse of his potential at the recent Brixton Cycles Club Super Madison event.

The 15-year-old, who rides for i-Team/KSL/InTandem, won the senior keirin competition on the track – putting his experienced rivals in the shade.

And the Great Britain Talent Team rider was also third in the 500m sprint.

n Wiggle Honda’s memorable debut season continued as Elinor Barker won the Otley Women’s GP.

Former i-Team rider Dani King has already tasted Milk Race glory for the team – backed by Portsmouth’s online tri-sport retailer.
