Admiral Drake B are still the team to beat following a 7-2 demolition of Mr Pickwick A in division A of the Portsmouth Men’s Winter League.

Jon Bramble got the ball rolling for Drake with an 18-dart leg and 108 game-shot.

Wins from Barry Stevens, Shaun Brooker, with a 180, Adam Lipscombe, Danny Smith and James Brooker soon guaranteed the unbeaten outfit the points.

Mason Riou fired a 17-dart leg for a consolation and Phil Rudder also won for Pickwick.

Sam Head then added Drake’s seventh.

Stag A kept their division B promotion plans on track with a 6-3 triumph over Graham Arms A.

Stag wasted no time as Roy Sands, Mick Neilson, Ben Ford, Paul Emeney, Peter Scott and Duncan Cope won the first six legs.

Paul Skeates, Mark Mihell and Rob Knowles notched late wins to make the scoreline more respectable for Graham.

Phoenix North End C stay four points clear at the top of division C after beating Old House at Home A 6-3.

Gavin Hall and Dean Messenbird put Phoenix 2-0 up before Adrian Jones got Old House off the mark.

Mike Feaver got Phoenix back to winning ways with a 151 game-shot.

And legs from Dave Patourel, Trevor Cawte and Lee Cook guaranteed the the win.

Jim Dean and Dale Adams won consolations for Old House.

Star & Garter moved top of division D with a 7-2 win over basement side Rose in June A.

Paul Henty, Alan Whitehead, Trevor Martin, David King and Lee Stevenson propelled Star into a 5-0 lead.

Rose stopped a complete rout as Ian Saynor and James Dugan won legs before Dave Gisby and Phil King rounded things off for Star.

Tap A are still looking for their first win of the season in division E after they went down 5-4 to Pembroke.

Nigel Teague and Martin Downs gave Pembroke the early advantage before Gary Ramshead halved Tap’s deficit.

Pembroke’s Andrew James, Steve Brett and James Iles then ended the match as a contest.

Tap took three consolation legs including wins from Peter Fitzgerald and Nick Rook.

Portland Arms maintained their 100-per-cent record in division F as they enjoyed a 6-3 victory over Fawcett Inn.

Portland grabbed a 2-0 lead courtesy of Shaun Morris and Simon Williams but Fawcett restored parity thanks to John Dungworth and Steve Goodeve.

Joe Sweetman and Robert Griffin reinstated Portland’s two-leg advantage.

Nick Fallon pulled one back for Fawcett but it was one-way traffic from there on.

Keith Mayne and Liam O’Driscoll took the remaining clashes for Portland, with O’Driscoll hitting a 115 finish.

Chris Jafkins (Mr Pickwick B) registered a pair of 14-dart legs while Steve Filby (Newcome Arms A) also had a 14-darter with a 180.

Andy Newcombe (Jolly Taxpayer C) threw a 16-dart leg and Dean Jones (Newcome Arms A) and Kevin Mills (Jolly Taxpayer C) both had 18-dart efforts with Mills hitting a 130 finish.

Pete Curtis (Lord Chichester A) hit a 108 game-shot and David Lock (Froddington Arms) checked out on 100.

Steve Ockendon (Jolly Taxpayer C) fired in a maximum.

Brewers Arms have withdrawn from division D.

Meanwhile, George & Dragon C have pulled out of division F.

All teams scheduled to play them will now have a bye.
