Jack Marriner won week five of the Portsmouth Grand Prix series to move up to third place in the points table.

Having fired in 14, 15 and 17-dart legs and five maximums on the night, Marriner sealed victory with a 5-0 whitewashing of overall leader Danny Smith in the final.

Smith had beaten Paul Winter 4-0 in the semi-final, while Marriner edged out Bob Crawley 4-3.

Crawley threw a 105 finish as well as 14, 15 and 16-darters, while Ricky Williams had two 14-dart legs, a 15-dart effort and three 180s.

Winter also hit a trio of maximums in addition to 15 and 16-dart legs, and Paul Winter jnr also recorded a 15-darter.

Dave Harper finished a leg in 14 darts and Sam Head and Stefan Everard had 15-dart efforts, with Head also hitting a 118 game-shot.
