Mr Pickwick B maintained their unbeaten record in division A as they triumphed 7-2 over Stag A.
Pickwick went six sets up without losing a leg as Ron Jafkins, Shaun O’Donovan, Allen O’Donovan, Chris Jafkins, Lee O’Donovan and Liam Jafkins were all on the mark.
Shaun O’Donovan checked out on 111 and Chris Jafkins had a 17-darter and 180.
Mark Smith and Duncan Cope hit back for Stag to prevent a whitewash before Barry Gibson added a seventh for Pickwick.
Shearer Arms top division B after their 6-3 victory against Electric Arms.
Wes Farminer and Robert Blake put Shearer 2-0 up before James Bateman got Electric off the mark.
Shearer wasted no further time in bagging the points.
Bruce Baker, Lee Brothers, Sam Palmer and Paul Wain were all on the mark.
Rob Andrews and Mark Hymers took late consolations for Electric.
Division C leaders Druids Arms A suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down 5-4 to Jolly Taxpayer B.
Taxpayer put themselves in the driving seat as Thomas Money, George Davis and Anthony Turner all won legs.
George Green and John Rogers reduced Druids’ deficit to a single leg but Ted Andrews and Dave Clarke then gave Taxpayer an insurmountable lead.
Reg Wilshaw and Brett Smith won the remaining ties for Druids.
George & Dragon are still searching for their first points of the season in division D after losing 6-3 to Pembroke.
Nigel Teague and James Iles both gave Pembroke the lead.
But each time George immediately restored parity with James Browne and Shane Plummer respectively on the mark.
Pembroke then went 6-2 up as Martin Downs, Robert Jones, John Bailey and Ed Cook all won.
Philip North won the last leg as a consolation for George.
Jolly Taxpayer A leapfrogged Phoenix Southsea and moved out of division E’s bottom three after beating them 5-4.
Steve Jackson and Rob Pithers put Phoenix 2-0 up before Taxpayer took the lead through Robert F Parsons, Sam Willis and Kevin Houghton.
Nick Rizzuto pulled Phoenix level only for Robert Houghton to put Taxpayer within a leg of victory.
Phoenix forced a decider as Michael Mulvey won the penultimate clash and it was Taxpayer’s Steve Houghton who clinched the points.
Darrell Manchip (Newcome Arms A) threw a 15-dart leg, while his team-mate Del Thomson and Sean Jacobs (Duke of Devonshire) both had 18-darters.
Adam Lipscombe (Admiral Drake B) hit a 110 game-shot, while Andy Newcombe (Jolly Taxpayer C) checked out on 107 and Brian Croucher (Old House at Home B) and James Brooker (Admiral Drake B) both had 100 game-shots.
Les Stallard (Old House at Home A) and Jon Bramble (Admiral Drake B) both fired in maximums.
