Martin Stead won the Boro-Nanza prize with a 5-4 triumph over Tony Broughton in the final.
Stead had previously beaten Shayne Daughtrey 4-0 in the quarter-finals before beating Steve Jannaway 5-2 in the semis.
Broughton saw off Danny Smith 4-3 and then Mike Symes 5-2.
Rich Butler and George Mayne lost in the last eight.
Meanwhile, Girlz ‘n’ Glory is a new ladies only event, to be played on Sunday, July 28 at The Centurion, in Crookhorn.
It’s a 24-player round-robin competition with a top prize of £150.
There will be four groups of six players, with the top two from each group qualifying to play for the money.
Entry costs £7 and doors open at 10am for an 11am start.
