Danny Smith, Dave Horan and Tammy MacKenzie joined forces to win the mixed triples at the Mill Rythe Autumn Festival.

The trio defeated Graham Hollis, Dave Askew and Eileen Askew 3-0 in the final.

It was a welcome boost for Portsmouth’s Smith and Horan, who had earlier suffered a 3-0 defeat to Essex duo Jamie Robinson and Alan Collins in the final of the men’s pairs.

Meanwhile, MacKenzie reached the last four of the ladies’ singles along with Jan Robbins.

Oxfordshire’s Tricia Wright took the title with a 4-1 win over Chris Savvery.

Kent’s Josh Payne won the men’s singles competition with a 5-1 demolition of Dennis Crane.

Dorset’s Sarah Chick and Cathryn Campbell won the ladies’ pairs by dispatching Hampshire’s Brenda Dyer and Sam Pink 3-2.

Joe Davis, from Sussex, defended his youth title with a 3-1 win over Logan Barnecutt, and Dorset’s Daniel Perry emerged victorious in the under-14s by beating Alfie Heaton 3-2.
