Gosport Borough stretched their unbeaten start to the new year with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Wimborne Town at Privett Park last night.

Second-half strikes from Pat Cox, James Taylor and Dan Wooden earned the hosts all three points against manager Alex Pike's former side.

And with 11 points now earned from their five games since the turn of the year, a place in the Zamaretto Southern League division one south & west play-offs is now within touching distance for the now seventh-placed Borough.
