AFC Portchester produced a stunning second-half display to thrash Fawley in the Wessex League premier division tonight.

The home side cruised to victory with goals from Simon Stone, Pabs N’Doye and debut-making Dan Thompson.

Dan Audin had cancelled out Steve Hall’s opener for Fawley in the first half.

There was no such joy for Hayling United, though, as they went down 5-0 at Verwood Town.

Meanwhile, the Royal Navy fought back to draw 1-1 with the Army in their battle at Westleigh Park.

Andrew Cottam gave the Army a first-half lead only for Scott Sampson to cancel it out nine minutes into the second period.
